I've had my Cyborg 3D Gold USB joystick for about 6 months. About two weeks ago i started to notice the spring starting to loosen a bit, allowing me to move the stick a little in each direction without resistance. This wasn't a big problem but now I have noticed a new problem. When I am lining up on my attack runs, against ground or air targets, I sometimes experience a violent jerk in my aircraft even though my stick is not moved. It's as if I had twisted the rudder all the way to one side for a split second, and it is starting to get annoying because it throws off my aim. I am not 100% sure this is a joystick problem but I suspect it is in my limited knowlege. Can anyone please give me some more insight on what the problem is and how to fix it?

Wish I could help you.
I have the exact same stick running under XP Pro and have had none of your problems.
I have been using it for a year for many hours each week without a single glitch. All I can suggest is that you try it on a friends rig and see if you get the same problems. If it's had a lot of good use, just might be time for a replacement (although six months isn't really a lot?).
I'm sure they don't last forever and I won't be suprised if mine starts playing up for all the abuse I've given it in FB.
Ace stick BTW

I really hope it isn't a sign of my joystick dying, I'm affraid if it does fail then I won't be able to play this amazing game anymore. I don't think I could spare the money for a new stick!
