8 - Flying an Fw-190A4 in a Dgen Stalingrad campaign.

Shot down a bunch of old Russian kites.

That was one of my favourite Dgen campaigns - was before I got aep and pf - ended up with about 130 sorties and 250 odd kills before I lost the campaign reinstalling or something.

6 is quite common, I've got at least that many zero's in a P40 vs Zero Flying tigers Mission of mine. The record, all be it in fairly staged conditions, is about 25 B17 by a single Me262.

Offline 12 or 13 in P38L - DCG / Pacific Tour of Duty - that was the last time I played IL2 offline. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

In a campaign Im currently flying, I took down four He-111s, and two Ju-88s with my Il-2.

I was on the way back from a shipping strike, and had been in the air for 45mins. The route home took me over an enemy airfield where about sixteen to twenty German bombers were queuing up to land. I lost one canon in the ensuing fight which gave me a useful little yaw when firing into subsequent aircraft.

Eventually I took the inevitable hit in the oil cooler, but still RTB'd to an alternative airfield and did a pretty good belly landing.

Best sortie this year .<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Online my best was 14 planes in FW-190 A4 in Uk ded2 I think. Was about a year ago. Mostly spitfires mkV C's on the desert map.
I got 11 mixed bag late war planes in A late jug the week it was released. I think it was in AFj server.

But the one I'm most proud was eleven kills in IAR-81A .Yes In the A model with no cannons. it only has two fifty cals and four 7.92's.
This one was for sure in uk ded 2. Was against one of those nice red team missions flown with many TB-3's SPB and Ratas. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Offline few months ago I set 24 B-17's in a mission to test the firepower on the 262. I got them all with ammo left on both banks of cannons. ( i still have the track).

I think you still have the record in the highest number of kills with that awesome mistel shot. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif Ha ha. My PC still hasnt forgiven me for making it do that. I have to say though that the lag I get from time to time now seems rather trivial compared to that. Cant remember how many B-17s I downed with that move, 50 or 60 I think. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Online? The most I've gotten ever was 8. That was a very good day with a plentiful selection of targets. I was flying a F6F-3 Hellcat against Ki-61s and A6M5 Zeros.

My average sortie where I make contact with enemy fighters is usually 1 or 2 fighters downed.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I have shot down 9 planes in a sortie while flying the Wildcat in the early days of Zeke vs Wildcat server.

I have shot 11 planes in a sortie while flying the P-47 way back when the TX squad ran their server on <b style="color:black;background-color:#a0ffff">UBI[/b].

This was done before the asymmetric gun recoil existed. I really do believe the Brownings were better before PF. Sometimes I think Oleg had it pretty close until all of us whining changed that.

I've got 4 B-17 kills with a Me-163 (Yes, the rocket fighter!) altough I must admit that the last kill probably went down because I left my right wing in it as I went past http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Once I shot down a Pe-8 at a very low altitute, so the 5000lbs it dropped killed all the surrounding fighters...

Ok I was dead after that, but in some way I shot down about a dozen enemy Fighters and some friendly ones.

On Zekes' Kokoda map a couple of weeks ago, I shot down three P-40s and a P-400 using only the front guns on a Val. I was surprised when I hit the Airacobra's fuel tank and it exploded! I've shot down six aircraft on the same map in a Ki-43-Ib (a mix of P-40s, P-39s, and Spitfires). I got four Zeros and an Oscar flying a P-40E on the same map one night.

If you can't tell, my favorite plane is the Oscar, and my favorite map is Kokoda. Using the "sniper scope" on the Oscar, I've had sorties with an air to air hit ratio of over 50%. Some nights I couldn't hit the ground if I fired the guns going straight down in a power dive...<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Speaking of the Kokoda Trail map on Zekes

I shot down 7 aircraft in a Ki-43 Ic.... I think that's the best I've done especially with such limited ammo (500)
