I 'had' many walls in my crib covered with limited edition, signed aviation art prints and even though they were flat and didn't encroach on our living space I was encouraged to take them to work and put them on my office walls...which I promptly did.

They get more exposure that way anyway and I see them more since I'm there more than home it seems. I'd never get away with more than 1 of those around my house.

i've gotten 2.

maj. eagleton's P-47 whaich was a gift from 311th_Herk. (thansk again bro) & the smaller bf-109E in black cammo.
the HUGE ones are nice but i prefer the smaller scale ones like my 109. don't clutter as much and look a lot nicer set up around my rig. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
but i'm really getting into the small die casts.

Great looking collection. BTW... Wal-Mart has a P-47D in 1/18 scale sitting on the store shelves now. At least I think it's 1/18... but could be 1/32 as it's huuuuggge. And only 39.99. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Good question Aimail... i`m sure after serious overhaul it might be possible lol. But that`s alot of work.

Thanks Ice, i would love to get some more. Prefferable BBI, their quality and level of detail are spectacular. Sturmo 1:18 would be awesome hehe...

It would take considerable modification as the models are much too heavy 'as is' to have adequate thrust:weight for flight. The inner skins would have to be thinned and even then it would be questionable.

A cool idea though and more of a possibility for glow engines.
