Sometimes the P-400, sometimes not!

everything,

the TB-3 was the most challenging, the wings are so big, that you have to be real carefull not clipping them on the tower

If you go to the Check 6 website, and look for PF videos, there should be some vids of various aircraft landing on carriers. I believe one of them is the TB-3.

S!

You need to specify if it is a "moving" carrier or a "stationary" one. BIG difference.

The RAF662 has dogfight carrier missions (stationary) that are run on Hyperlobby every week. Stop on by and test your skill and get some good advice. We always like to see sim pilots turn off their guns and try their landing skills.

We land all types of planes during these missions. P-51, P-40, BF109, FW-190, Yak, GO 229, ME 262, C-47, Gladiator, I-153, Stuka and the Spitfire. We have an LSO because it gets pretty busy. Having to wave off when you think you might nail the landing is heartbreaking to say the least.

Look for "RAFCarriers" hosting a game and come on in!

I've managed Ta152, P47, A20, B25, TB3, Go229, IL2's etc.

I found with the TB3 that landing them on the Japanese carriers is far easier than the US or British carriers.

For a real challenge try landing on the escort carriers!

Me-262 , P-80 , B-29 , Pe-8

hardest for me was the Go-229 , its such a unstable plane on the leading wheel

TB-3 was about the second thing I tried... give it a go on one of the japanese carriers, you can taxi the left wing round the tower & take off again.

The AI landed a B-29 on the Lex, although the nosewheel lasted about 3 feet.
