But wait a minute! Didn't they take off like that in the movie, "Flight of the Phoenix"? I guess our sim is not accurate then.....lol

Strange thing is, in that mission two Rufes took off correctly in the water but these were generated on the land runway for some reason.

That's why i only fly the user made cmpns instead of those things. Far better to btw.

DGen has some cool ideas like personal enemies and bomber crews, but since the whole generator is still experimental I prefer too the 'house' designs.

There still are some really worth trying ideas in DGEN - it gives a hint of what the Complete Edition of Il-2 will become.

Since all I care about is blowing up things in the air and on the ground, Dgen will do quite nicely. Dgen campaigns are about 93% of what I have been doing in this game for 7 years now. The Dgen generator itself is not so much the problem but the AI is the problem.

Careful what you post here some of us are eating. I almost choked on my chines take out.

Come on we know what is really going on here. It is a very wet runway that only float planes could use......

In some instances I bet they could have at least landed on some of the runways at times during the rainy season with some of the footage I have seen......
