I like things to look pretty big so 800 by 600. Fast frame rates makes it easier for me to put rounds on the target online. And I need all the help I can get.

1152 X 864. It's my desktop resolution and it simplifies things.

Yeap looks quite cool at 800*600. Dunno at 1024, everithing looks too small for my taste...

1024x768(32), It's my desktop reso., I have tried 1600x1200 & it looked nice but there was a slight FPS hit

sometimes I go back to 1024x768, but last time has been awhile.

I use 1600x1200 and I'm getting 50fps average (good nuff for me)

1152x864 and it runs super.

System specs:

Pent 4 - 2 gig CPU
640 megs sdram
Sound Blaster 5.1 Surround
G-Force 4 Ti4200 64 meg with newest FX drivers

I play with all setting high and excellent but perfect runs smooth only on 800x600. I don't use perfect even though patch made it better.

I run with antiailiasing set to 4x and anistrophic filter set to 2x.

It looks photographically real and runs great.

On my original 15", I flew at 1024 x 768.

On my old 17", I flew at 1024 x 768.

On my new 19", I fly at 1024 x 768.

Just seems to be the perfect balance regardless of screen size.

Previously 1024x768x32 with Quin FSAA - 17" monitor
Now have 19" monitor and run at 1600x1200x32 no FSAA (looks a lot better and setting view to excellent with medium distance gets about the same frames).

The new monitor has spoiled me a little - now want bigger, better, faster PC to run the High-res with all bells and whistles /i/smilies/16x16_robot-sad.gif

1024x768x32 all Excellent settings.

I tried 800x600 a while back, but the instruments were hard to read, and I read them constantly. So I stay at 1024.

Everything on MAX and still runs fine, and my litlle 19" Eizo is still giving me the eye-pleasing 100Hz refreshrate /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

BTW the same reso as my Desktop /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I tried the 1280x960 resolution a few days back. I thought it was great looking. IMO, 1280 without FSAA looked better than my 1024 with 4X FSAA. But my desktop is 1024, and swapping took ages, so why bother.
