it has recantly came to my attention that a few ppl online are cheating. By turning thier grafix cards gama up so high, they don't black out when pulling those high G turns in thier Fw-190s. you know the ones....the ones that make you go WTF!!!? how'd he do that kinda turn.
Even though the game black them out they can still see.

i think this has been around a while now. no idea why i'm just finding out about it. Could be that just like now...i'm shining a spot light on it for everyone to see.

So for everyone who has had to ask how the F8#k did he do that.....there's your answer.

Hmm... you can overcome this by increasing the monitor brightness slightly, there's no need to burn your eyes. But in any case, when you blackout your joystick doesn't send inputs so there's not much benefit in seeing how you are heading straight to the ground! If it's in a turn, you can keep some SA but that's about it.

IMO this would not have been much of a problem if blacking out meant that the screen would go 100% black instead of what we have.

I has come recently to my attention that some people still don't know of one of the oldest
cheats in game! LOL! That was a hot one back in 2002!

So how does that help when you loose control during a black out?

Trim still works http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
so on aircraft with a full trim set (e.g. P51), you can still manouver ...

Why is every one of your threads a thinly disguised whine about the FW190?

Is it only 190 drivers using such a cheat (in your mind yes)?

It couldn't possibly be people flying good, wholesome P-47s

Just don't black out and it doesn't matter. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

One has 66% (Ailerontrim 33%, ruddertrim 33%) more manouvrebility in the P-51 than in a FW during blackout.

So essentially one can outmanouver a FW with no blackout in a P-51 with blackout.

Sounds about right. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

But lets focus on the real problem here, Gamma settings. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif

I hate cheaters...I played CS back in 1999 and after some point, it seemed that about everyone cheated. The game lost my interest. When people got owned, they wanted revenge and they cheated too. I hope this does not happen in IL-2 and forthcoming SOW. There is also why I always plays online just with my friend with own missions. Becase when I shoot my mate down or being brought to the ground myself, I know he didnĀ“t cheated.

If you study the FW design you'll notice the pilot seat tilted back ~20 Degrees (similar to modern day fighter aircraft.
This will give the FW pilot a higher G advantage over any other plane that does not have this feature... thus 'WTF how did he do that'..

Presumably you can't possibly use this cheat whilst flying a red aeroplane...

this trick has been out for a while now. from what i have heard it is used by the jug pilots who can not hit the broad side of a barn. it seems their gunnery is so weak they stoop to these new lows to get a kill. but then we are talking jug jocks here what else would you expect . wouldn't you agree Copper?

Man, you do live in the sticks. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

Even with Internet it took all of 4 or more years to get the goods. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

It's just another lamo tactic for little minded peoples is all.

Just get in position and kill them anyway. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

AFAIK these water filled G-Suites were not used extensively by the allies, so Oleg probably hasn't modelled them.
Such a shame - FW is still uber.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
