His book Sky Spy is a good read. Especially interesting were his experiences of "evading" Komets and 262's in his PR Spit in the latter part of the war.

Always sad to hear of deaths of old warriors.

it's misleading though were it says <span class="ev_code_RED">'becoming an instructor teaching Russians how to fly Hurricanes'</span>.

He was one of the RAF Murmansk pilots who was operational there & shot down a 109.

I'd highly recommend his book as mentioned by Lucius_Esox.
