What is generally needed to make this incredibly rich campaign content work? Thanks.

Greetings Ed and welcome,
Try to check out the builders forum here..

Read the FAQ and check around there for all the guides you will need. You should find some good help from the guys there as well.
Regards
Dag

Hi,
Most of the campaigns are just static, that is linear series of singl emissions combined into one campaign. As long as your version of the game is the same or later than the version used to make the campaign then you will have no problems and can start downloading and playing.

If the campaign is made using the DGen thing then you need to make sure you have the correct version. I honsetly don't know much about this but there is a series of patches for DGen now available made by a guy named Ejoyr.

This link here taks you to an extensive list of campaigns and there download locations

Thilink takes you to Mission4Today, a site dedicated to IL2 and that contains many campaigns, single missions and skins.

Have fun.

The only thing that makes this sim playable at all is the community. Looking forward to learning it all, thanks again.
