Surely, with these two movies coming out as major marketing tools that a sim creator could exploit to their benefit, somebody will finally create a modern WW1 sim? It doesn't look like the Knights of the Sky project is going to fly anytime soon. It sure would be wonderful to get Oleg to create as good a sim as the IL2 series is referencing WW1. I'd pay bukoo bux, as Red Baron was the sim that got me into (addicted to them) flight sims. Anybody...help!

I agree! I'd really like to see a WWI flight sim again. I used to have alot of fun playing Rowan's "Flying Corps". I'd certainly shell out the bucks for an updated WWI sim.

I"am very glad some one is making a World one Aviation movie. Its way over due. I hope this will increase the interest in World war one Avion and World one in general.

In my opinion World war one like the Pacific Theater until recently are way under represented in the Sim World.

World war one was the begining of modern aviation really started.

OFF Line, I think that whats its called. A addon to CFS3 developed by a dedicated group of CFS3 members is a fantatic addition to this Hooby, but we also need a World war one dedicated quality Sim as well.

I hope these movies are a succes. I know I will see them as soon as they are made available to the public and I hope you will too.

I loved that anime. I liked the dogfight at the end, and how the fighter pilots still had respect for eachother throughout the movie.

Theyre already making a game for Flyboys...unfortunately it looks exactly like the original un-updated, unmodified RB2....

I'm really interested in seeing this Red Baron movie! Looks to be a lot better than this 'flyboys' movie

totally agree ^^ ...the best thing about this anime its that its really funny(when they start trowing things each other from planes! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif ) but at the same time it still really deep. And like all Hayao Miyazaki anime...animations are superb!

For those nay-sayers re: Knights of The Sky, I say you're wrong. Updates are coming out regularly and release is still on track for 2006.

I think the action sequences will probably be good.. but I am not holding too much hope for the film itself. I hope I am surprised.

Can hardly wait for the movies, they look great. Bet we won't be disappointed. And I sure do hope someone picks up on these and produces a WWI PC flight sim. Still have my old Red Baron II/3d and even though I know it won't run on my XL (sound) I continue to install it from time to time, load the Super Patch and get to play a few missions until the sound goes.
