Hi all,

since I prefer to fly this plane, I found two "bugs" related to it.

1. Rocket engine should be fully throttable. You can check it on the following link http://www.flightjournal.com/articles/me163/me163_2.asp, where it says

Remarkable aircraft. I got three bombers with it on a coop mission once. (B-24's I think) Before I ran out of ammo (not fuel!)<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I still don't think the engine is fully throttable. You can set it to 33, 66 and 100 %. I understand fully throttable to be set to any value between 0 and 100%. Which would be quite userfull most of the time.

Gid job shutting down three bombers. It's quite difficult to shut down more (lack of munitions)

If you are planning a coop mission, I would really like to join.

Shooting bombers down is my favorite job http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Which version of the game do you use? In 4.04m the Me163 engine surely is fully throttable, but this was not the case when it was released.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I have Saitex X-45 and game version v4.04 and v4.05.

Never noticed that is suposed t obe fully throttable. Always increment by one third. Maybe I should reinstall game http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif after the new DVD will be out.

But I still think the fuel consumptiuon is always on the high side (as with 100% throttle).<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

I just checked as I remembered the old 33, 66, 100 settings but now (version 4.05m) it's fully throttleable alright.<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

4.05? I'm using 4.04 and I don't have that problem. 4.03 or 4.02 is the last I remember seeing it. As for kill ratio 3 bombers is a moderately succesful run for that thing. I pop B-17's like zits. Come down on them from above and fire at the wings. Don't waste ammo blowing them off, just set em on fire, thats all you need. Haven't flown against B-29's alot with the 163, so I don't know how they react.

I'm toying with the idea of hosting a PF server but I'm trying to learn the ropes. As a test and before I spend any money renting anything I wanted to master the server concept and operation on my home PC first. To this I have downloaded all the PPF merged server files and have got, what I hope, is a running server, using FBDaemon too. The problem is I can't seem to connect to this server from my machine at home. Could I ask some help from the PF community to see if they can see my server at 70.162.189.28 port 21000? I realize serving from home off a large cable modem won't give anyone the whole experience but at this point I just want to make sure people can see the server.

Also has anyone else gone this route? If so do you mind if I pick your brains? I promise I'll even put your brains back when I'm done. I'm really, really new to the whole server idea but I'd like to host a more pacific oriented server along the lines of UK Dedicated.1 on hyperlobby. (my favorite server but hardly any PTO missions) Thanks again!
