Although the narrative and general production values don't come anywhere near those of The Great War which was madew in the 1960's and is only just receiving a long overdue re-run on BBC2 the way the film has been colourised is totally awesome isn't it?!!

Yeah, I think they've done a great job.

They've managed to avoid the usual trap of over-colouring and saturating the film.

I've never before seen film from this period looking so 'fresh'
