how was Juno able to control desmond via apple to kill lucy... Desmond has some of the highest concentration of First Civ blood.. since altair and ezio have shown some resistance, Desmond, who more likely has "MORE" TWCB blood should be able to resist it

He did try to resist it, in fact, he struggled against Juno controlling him, which is why he only moved forward slowly and kept his conscious mind.

When it comes to the artifact though, when it is controlled through a First Civilization member, it must be extremely hard to fight back against.

Considering that Ezio and Altair were both caught and restrained by the artifacts completely in AC1 (Al Mualim) and AC2 (Rodrigo Borgia), Desmond's control in that situation was a lot more that most individuals could muster.

What I don't get (this might be a n00bish question) is...didn't Ezio use the apple in the last game? Why was it such a big deal to find it if he already had it.

Ezio had the apple from Cyprus. NOT Alta´r's apple, which everyone believed was sent away from Masyaf. Ezio was looking for the library not for an Apple, but for the truth to his order.

Alta´r's apple of Eden held the message for Desmond. Not Ezio's apple. That is why Alta´r hid it from the world for Desmond to find through Ezio.

Her purpose had been fullfilled. Also, Veronica Mars probably wanted a bigger paycheck.
