One thing I'd love to see in Far Cry 3, is the ability to place things such as pressure plates, levels, switches, buttons, and so forth. These would be great for making puzzles and mazes, or goal oriented maps. Say you have to move a crate on to a pressure plate to open a door. The way you would assign the triggers to the events would be GUI, say the pressure plate is Trigger ID 1, and the door is Event ID 1, so they have a direct relationship. But the events wouldn't just be for doors, they would be for things like pulley systems and pistons to move objects for the next part of the maze. The potential for maps would increase ninefold, you could create prison escape maps, and get really in depth game play. Any further suggestions?

Post it in the original Far Cry Suggestions? Most people go on there for people's Ideas. The Problem About that is that they would cause a lot of lag issues. Good thinking though

I doubt if the Developers even know how popular Escape / Course & Maze maps are on the Far Cry games - I know on Consoles they are very popular.

Was it ever the same on PC ? Did people make these types of map where the aim is to Escape or to get to the End.

Those 3 above all make unique maps - I would like to disagree with Dapper Hayden on this, I think switches and pressure plates and stuff would work fine with the game, Lag is not that big a factor in these types of map because the main map time is spent thinking how to get around a situation, they are generally pretty laid back maps - not a shot is fired in anger at another player - the soul aim is completing puzzles and jumps and stuff.

I can't see it ever happening but those that make these types of map should get on here and try to be heard.

As long as it doesn't take up too much on the game. This is Far Cry remember, not Tomb Raider.
