Eye-candy indeed. I've not seen so much close attention to detail, and to the subtle curves of the subject, anywhere other than in soft-core porn... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Was afraid you were going to bump into the thing a couple of times. Close enough to see the smashed bugs on the leading edges. Nice!

Thanks for sharing.

The high wind was bumping me around, me and my unsteady iphone/camera. But I almost did get a rise in my shorts filming that. You could call it; pornairgraphy. It was a nice day out there.

Hi M2, very nice video.
I was especially impressed by youíre choice of background music, an all too overlooked aspect of any nostalgic production.
What a tasteful way to pay homage to a war bird by showing respect for the time period of itís day.
It sets the mood and can work wonders for immersion.
I hope others will follow youíre example no mater if itís a video, flight sim or what have you.
Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the compliments. Would you happen to know the name of that song or who played it?
I think its Benny Goodman. I don't know because I got it from Jane's WW2 (Sim) and it plays while looking in the hangar in that game. Good music.

Hey M2Morris-How's it going ? Been awhile since we talked,I've been away from the forum for a couple of years,I was downloading 4.09b1m with the "switcher",got a brief glimpse of what was available, then it crashed on me,so I just got disgusted and stopped flying for awhile, til I got COD-which seems to have lame sound-at least to me.
Love the airshow vid.,I live in Waco, but forgot where you live;guess I've slept too many times since we last talked,LOL.
I went last year, and it wasn't near as good as this year's looks-I regret missing it.
Last year's was a lot of "Texans" and "Dakotas",the highlight was the B-52 flyover, and the "Skyraider"-IMHO.I had my handheld scanner with me,and found airshow control, they weren't using the tower, and that let me know who was up next, how far out the B-2 and B-52 were, etc.

Anyway, maybe we can meet up at next year's show.Talk to you later, good flying,Esel

Also, for those that enjoy the WWII era tunes,go to Live 365 internet radio, and find the station "Rat Patrol Radio" (http://www.ratpatrolradio.com/)-it's great!

Welcome back Esel, two years has passed already? wow, time flies fast.
Sounds good about the airshow next year, maybe we can link up. I will most likely be among a gaggle of kids with my wife. This time they had a no-coolers or backpacks rule, but I froze a bunch of water bottles and brought them in that way with munchies stuffed under the kids wheel buggy. They had an L4 Grasshopper there that I fell in love with. The mustang in the vid? That thing was a real babe too. I just used my cellphone and did a close walk around. Lots of good stuff there that day. It was a good day.
I will try to remember my scanner. Hope we can make it.

Thanks M2Morris,
If you've got a handheld scanner, definitely take it.If I'm remembering correctly, the airshow freq. was 120.550,or just scan the aviation band with a low gain antenna and it should pop up pretty quickly. Then switch to a higher gain antenna to hear the planes waiting a few miles out(on the same freq.-since the tower's closed basically) and you can hear airshow control tell the B-52 "Graet pass, thank you" and the BUFF responds:"Thanks, you're more than welcome ma'am",stuff like that;it adds to the show experience for sure.
Anyway,if not before,I'll get in touch with you in mid-April or so to workout a meeting.
Hasta la vista,amigo.
