fter 1.1b released I do some a/c climbrate test in quick mission. Here is the test data.
smolensk map ,initial altitude 100m ,initial speed300km/h(ias) climb speed 270km/h max power output but without overheat,100%fuel
model climb to 3100m climb to 5100m
bf109f4 2'43" 4'43"
bf109g2 2'08" 3'40"
bf109g6 2'47" 4'59"
bf109g6/as 2'10" 3'48"
bf109g10 2'23" 4'37"
bf109g14 2'25" 4'27"
bf109k4 2'03" 3'27"
yak9/1942 3'02" 5'23"
lag3/1943 2'57" 5'45"
la5f 2'40" 5'33"
la5fn 2'26" 4'51"
la7 2'09" 4'05"
yak3 2'27" 4'27"
yak9t/43 3'02" 5'49"
yak9u 2'18" 4'15"
yak9D/43 3'10" 6'03"
the data can not tally with that in FBs object view
engine runing at 2600rpm ,others same as top
climb to 3100m climb to 5100m
bf109g2 2'32" 4'24"
bf109g6 3'05" 5'27"
on the contrary
finnish G6 hand book data
climb to 3000 3' climb to 5000 5'15"

but I have no other ac climb performance data to compare with .who can give me some imformation about this.

I made this test and those times are too small. G2 cant climb at 5100 m in 3'40". I dont know if the other times are OK or no.

are you using radiator bug (for no overheating) + 110% power????

The settings for measure the times of climb of the planes that appear in object viewer should be 100% of power + radiator open.

the engine overheat option is on and complex engine manipulation .i use track to measure the climb time .but because the track bug i dont know if it is accurate.

g2 100% fuel auto prop cowl cloz
take up 9:31:30
5000m 9:35:00
---------//-------- cowl auto
take up 9:31:00
5000m 9:34:45

and this with mistakes - lil bank some time, lil nose down-lost climb+more speed than 280 ias some time

aaand timer in the cockpit, so when i was in 4800 meter i drop joy(no trim use) and look at clock this time is about +200m in thos climbs rait, so is about ur results

ok, but the times of climb in object viewer of the planes are flying at 100% of power, no 110%. With radiator bug the motor doesnt overheat in the first 5 minutes of the quick mission and then u can fly all time of the climb with 110%.

i never say engine no overheat actually its overheat about climb to 3800m after overheat i just pull back throttle a little make it back to normal.then set it at 105% auto radiator.it will be never overheat again.

Gentlemen:

Each aircraft has a Best Rate Of Climb Airspeed, using only one indicated airpseed may not be appropriate to all the aircraft you use for your study.

Repeat, for measure the times you only can fly with 100%, no 105%, 103%, 110%,.... the times of climb in object viewer of the planes are flying with 100% of power.

obviously if use 100% throttle 109g6 climb time can not match that in object viewer.
