it doesn't seem possible to fly this plane in the VVS campaign game - or am I missing something?

(I know the VVS used them - lots of them)

I dont think you can unless you make your own missions in the full mission builder. Once you get the hang of it, you'll never regret it. Making better missions then "canned missions" isn't hard. I spend more time in the mission builder then in the cockpit.

Hi

Yes-go to DGen folder under the game directory, pick one of the planes files-lets say planesRuS.dat and type A_20G under your wanted fighting areana(you'll find there other plane codes).save.
Go to pilot career chose the right one and pick the A20G from the plane menue and generate.now you have A20G campaign over eastern front.
If you have BoE you can do the same and fly over western europe.

Cheers

Use Notebook.

It has to be pure ASCII. Text processors input data, codes and commands, don't use them.

I am almost positive that I created a campaign last night and selected the A-20 for the missions to be flown in 1944 and 45. I was using the single player campaigns and chose the Sturmovik from the USSR campaigns. You can change your aircraft by clicking on the aircraft next to the city/region. The campaign starts on the date and region region that is highligthed and skips all of the previous missions.

Just looked it up. The A20 is available on teh Sturmovik South Campaign starting with the Kuban (1942) map. The A20 is also available on the Sturmovik Center camapign starting with Smolensk (1944).
