ive just recieved the first in the opst and am still awaiting AEP. do i still install PF over FB? and cos ive not got AEP yet does it affect what patches i install?

1 more question. can i still use dcg without AEP?

Do i need AEP to merge them all or can i just merge FB and PF?

You need all of them in this order:

Il-2
FB
AEP
PF merged install
patches sequentially until 4.02m

Having AEP is mandatory in this case. You need it in order to have a correct merge.

Sit tight till you get The AEP.... then FB>AEP>PF> patch 3.03m>4.01m>4.02m then fly.

As said, you need AEP to bridge FB and PF.

You can still install PF now as it's own 'standalone' sim. It goes to a different location on your harddrive than when you install it as 'merged', so later -- when you get AEP -- install AEP over FB and then install PF again as the FB+AEP+PF option. You can then uninstall your original PF install if you choose to.

As for DCG, the las time I looked the oldest version offered at Lowengrin's site required that you had at least AEP. The more current versions are for FB+AEP+PF but there may be parallel versions that are just for PF 'standalone' version.
