I can honestly say that after waiting what seems like an eternity for the PC version of Brotherhood I have never been so uninpressed with a follow on game for as long as I have been playing. The controls for the PC were always a bind but since the developers have mucked around with the this area in the new game the Ezio character appears to want to spend all his time posing instead of fighting what is in front of him. Bearing in mind he is supposed to have picked up a lifetime of skills it is amazing how easy he is to hit now as you tie your fingers in knots trying to put together multiple strings of key combinations (none of which are explained properly as usual) and as soon as he gets hit he loses almost all his health, even with the amount of armour etc that he is carrying.
The final straw for me was after carefully picking my way through a Borgia tower and killing everything plus the Captain I got desynched trying to get up to flame a tower, and it brought me back in to the game miles from where I was. That's it for me I am off to play a gane with decent controls and some form of enjoyment associated with it. Strange how some of the novice assassin's can take out opposition better than the master :O(

Are you talking about Assassins Creed Brotherhood? I quite frankly can't find any of my own gameplay experience in your message.

i`m 20 minutes into the game,

so i know this is a trolling thread looking for nasty responses.

probably from a fall or mis-direction jump, but labeling a game like this "rubbish" from lack of the basic need to learn a new games controls is just childish.

I've just completed the Brotherhood story mode.

I find the controls fine, but im also playing with the xbox 360 controller for pc.

I enjoyed the game just as much as AC2, I expected the game to have some more chapters, and maybe some more different types of missions once and a while, but again, this game comes with the multiplayer feature, so im fine with it.

Now i'm only waiting for the mp dev team, to make the match system better, so I can join matches faster.

All in all, I think it's a great game.
I felt sad when I completed the last chapter http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Do you have 100% sync already ? I completed the main story line the day after the release and i am still not done with solo mode yet. There are tons of parallel quests, guild challenges, achievements, items to collect remaining. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Well I'll jump in here before the thread gets locked for not being posted in the feedback thread or some other excuse they come up with to squash it. I always thought "feedback" was primarily for bug reporting, not general opinions pro and con, which belong in Gen Discussion. Suffice it to say they get creative when they feel certain threads can be construed as negative advertising and start twisting definitions.

I find AC: Bro is def harder to adapt to when first playing than AC2 was. There's FAR more wasted time running/galloping around trying to find Memory Start missions and towers you can access, many are in blocked off unaccessible areas and you don't really know until you've traveled to or near them.

They somehow managed to make Ezio and the horses even more awkward to navigate through the map than in AC2. Ezio nows hangs up even worse on various building and other structures and you often have to force him into a stealth breaking, embarrassing jump into a crowd to become unstuck from them. The horses get hung up on the tiniest of terrain features, yet at other times will surprise you with daring jumps, like over the corner of a rock wall at water's edge.

The storming of the towers to torch them while offering a new dynamic regarding wealth building is rather repetitious and often times guards will not see you even when fairly close. It also doesn't make much sense that Ezio would be galavanting around a big city like Rome so easily acquiring real estate all by himself with barely any armor, arsenal, or ANY troops at all to back him up.

There also seems to be a terrible imbalance in the 100% sync challenges. Some are far too easy, a few are just right, and some, like 8 min on the Romulus Lair with all the tunnels, are far too hard. Combat seems to be overall too easy. Even with a mere 6 block sync status and only the starting pauldrons and weapons I can take out Brutes just by focusing on other enemies then quickly switching to them. Ezio will do a throat stabbing/slitting jump/lunge as if Achilles in Troy.

I'm not willing to say it's all bad, and I've yet to get into the game far enough to give it an overall rating, but so far it's not quite what I'd hoped it would be. AC2 was so engaging and better than AC1 I couldn't put it down. AC: Bro is rather ho hum and confusing in some respects and I have found myself bouncing around playing other games in betwween, some even being older, rather obscure titles.

You must be kidding... ac2 was too easy and ac1 too repetitive... ac:b is just perfect http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
