I could care less if the patch takes another month or two to come out, I'm still having a great time with the 95% that works well.

I thought I'd make a fun thread to give everyone a tongue-in-cheek release while waiting with "altered" pics pertaining to the patch. It got locked. No big deal, really, but not necessary either if you think about it.

Infogrames forums turned a similar thread of people waiting for the UT2003 demo into a sticky thread actually encouraging folks to put their creativity to use. Those forums were 100 times worse for whining than here at the time (and still is incidentally) but there is a subgroup of more "adult" folks who took the issue and had fun with it. It actually turned into a promotional coup for infogrames/Epic games! There were some insanely hilarious compositions with Mark Rein and his "two more weeks" quote.

I have nothing against Ubi or the mods here, who do a fine job considering what they have to deal with but why not let us have some harmless fun and direct the nervous energy into something more positive?

If you still wish to lock the thread so be it. Just so you know it's only meant in fun! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
