Team Dogfight €" WHO WON?

Why during an online dogfight can€t the program clearly tell everyone who won?
Blue Team Won or Red Team Won.

I hear rumors that something like this is coming in BOB but why not in IL2 FB???

In Dedicated Server€¦ Currently the host can set the victory requirement for an online dogfight. (Planes, pilots etc.) However, most of the players can€t tell who won when the objective is reached without having multiple lines of the chat box scrolling. So.. most people don€t see it. Its even been mentioned in the support forum that the code to indicate which team one doesn€t currently or never worked correctly.

Why not clearly tell which TEAM won in an online dogfight? This minor acknowledgement / reward may get some more pilots to work for the TEAM instead of belonging to the masses of shoulder shooting kill stealing selfish pinheads.

Here is a link to the FB2Deamon support site where someone asked the same question with several responses. http://www.greatergreen.com/scripts/ikonboard/ikonboard...9;act=ST;f=31;t=5285 (http://www.greatergreen.com/scripts/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi?s=b121886a8228d0690d20dc9639605119;a ct=ST;f=31;t=5285)

It is advisable to enlarge your chatbox simply by dragging it with your mouse (you have to open it first just as you will type something into it, and then drag the corner with mouse). This way several lines of text will be visible and the information who won the map will not dissapear immediately.

I always saw which team won?

Like TT says, you must not have enough lines showing in your chatbox.

The first thing you should do when playing online is enlarge the chat box with your mouse, all the important messages are shown there. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks... but I didnt ask how to show more than one line of chat. My original post already commented on that.

Yes, it's a recurring question on the FBD forum, but Sammie is obviously a very busy chap, so I wouldn't look for this problem to be fixed any time soon. In the meantime, the workaround, as stated, is to enlarge your chat. Three lines is enough to see everything that FBDaemon is sending to chat.

Thats because in it's present form this sim isnt geared for team play in DF servers.... Coops tell you who won. This has been asked for before too.. a way of measuring team performance in DF servers that is easy to use and right there for all to see. Locked at poster request.... However I think this and the other two suggestions that have also been locked at the posters request.... (probably because he got unjustly flamed by some of the more opinionated folks in here.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif... although I am sure that little message at the bottom of one of the posts has something to do with it.. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif) are good ones and should be put here (http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/63110913/m/2571024123).

I guess I should rephrase that.... it can be done in the sim currently.. but I am thinking you are talking about a team scoring type of thing in DF servers sort of like what was in CFS1... & 2..
