View Full Version : Here's how ya back up FB

Okay people, here's what I do "incase" the updater is porked.

I have learned after years of software use, back it up if ya can before patching it. Since the FB Updaters don't seem to make any registry entries it's a piece o' cake to duplicate your current FB install folder and call it "FB Bakup Ver X.XX" if the update is porked, delete the updated folder and rename the backup folder to the original name, and viola!

I have FB 1.0, FB 1.1b both backed up myself

incase you cannot backup the entire fb folder as many of us do here are a few that you realy should to save alot of time

paintschemes



Files I back up
Conf.ini
rcu
rts.dll
all of the readme's
all of the pdf.files (manuals)
