I am sure that many of you have heard of the Condor Competition Soaing simulator - for those of you who have not heard of it or who may have tried it in the past all I can say is give it a shot now! The new patch is AMAZING - the entire thermal generating system has been revamped and now provides a very realistic flight dynamic. This, along with the improved winds, Eastern Alps scenery package, and now a BLANIK http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/heart.gif - a truly great sim for when you are craving something different. You may think that this would all be boring - but the online comps are really incredible: taking a ballasted up ASW-28 on a crosswind tow on a strong day makes carrier landings seem a walk in the park - and fighting your way up a crowded thermal - narrowly avoiding mid-airs and trying to stretch out a final glide to goal can be just as tiring as any dogfight mission. Check out this acro vid shot from the MDM-1 Fox:YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbNZalbWYe8)

nice video
what's going on with the music though?

Agreed - though all soaring pilots are apparently into bad music http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif Actually one of the advantages of engineless flight is its actually quiet enough to listen to tunes while flying along http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
