Only flying B-17? I think not. Sally B, meet Yankee Lady. http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k301/FA_Razor/YankeeLady.jpg

"Sentimental Journey" and "Memphis Belle" are both flying, and I believe "Fuddy Duddy" too.

Add B17 "Nine-O-Nine" to the list, she was there with B24 "Witchcraft", both from the Collings foundation. (you can just see 9-0-9 in the background) Some info from those folks indicates about a dozen or so B17's are flyable/flying around the world. Their B-24 is the only one flying, originally painted as "All American" then "The Dragon And His Tail". They change the paint scheme every two years to honor different groups.

The Yak is indeed a Yak-7B (US Registration N7YK if your interested), albeit with an Allison engine. It did not fly on this day, (needs a replacement brake caliper), but it is flyable and has appeared at Sun-N-Fun and other EAA fly-ins.

"Listen to the jingle,
hear the rumble and roar.
As we roll down the runway
in our old B24.

Listen to rumble
as you hear the captain call,
'If we don't get the airspeed up
we won't get up at all!"

Sung to the Tune "The Wabash Cannonball"

Hehe, I was reading that to the tune of 'Welcome to the Jungle' by Guns N Roses http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Fantastic shots, love the one from the waist.
