PS: I forgot to mention Ė if I forgot something that should have been in this two sections (fistfight and avoiding), please let me know. You have to agree with me that it is hardly possible to find all possible moves in AC http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Well, I do have some tips. Basic or not, i found them out and figured that they are quite useful.

For avoiding, you can run in the middle of a battle. It's useful when you're low on health and getting battered by the guards. By removing lockon, altair can run away from the battle and get a few seconds advantage. If surrounded, removing lockon allows you to actually tackle the guards while getting away. Again, getting yourself a few seconds advantage.

How this is useful: Imagine running into a dead end with guards on your pursuit. Climbing the building will have them throw stones at you. so you decide to fight them. After awhile, you figured that the guards aren't getting any lesser but you are losing alot of health. So, by removing lockon, you can run and tackle the few guards, getting a few seconds advantage and get you out of that tight spot.

Another avoiding tip is to never climb a building when avoiding guards. Run around and try to find a barrel or a foothold and slowly make your way up instead of climbing the building like spider-man. This is to avoid guards throwing stone at you. If the stone knocks you down and you do not have the grasp ability, you will fall and the guard will have enough time to surround you and make your life so much more difficult. thus, an easier way is to find a barrel and try to find a path to a higher ground.

For fighting fist fights, a good way to ensure a hit is to first block an attack and quickly press the punch button during the block. This trick ensures a 100% hit on the enemy.

When facing 1 enemy, grabbing them and throwing them to a nearby wall will have them bouncing off it. When they hit the wall, you can punch them if you're close. If they fall to the ground close to you, rapidly punching them will make them unable to get up and at your mercy. within 4 ~5 hits, you can knockout even an armed guard with fists.

When the guard is alert of your presences, they will draw their sword. At that moment, they are vurnerable to your grab. Using the grab and punch technique, they will succumb to it easily.

Another tip is when their drawing their sword. this causes them to be unguarded. if you select fist, you will have a second head-start into hitting them as you need not waste time drawing your weapons. If you punch the guard with your fist rapidly, they are not able to attack with their sword and wouldn't be able to guard (I could be wrong on this, haven't touch assassin creed for month since my graphic card burnout).

This is all the tips i have to offer of avoiding and fist-fighting. Your videos are very very nice. Keep it up and I'm waiting for your tutorial video 2. You videos showed me tips that i didn't knew exist. Thanks a bunch! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

@braxton, regard it as a documentation then.

@BSoD, thanks a lot for your tips. I'm sorry for my delayed response, but I had very little time for games in the past time. Should have more soon.

I will try to include your tips in the next tutorial. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

thanks
