Hi everyone,

I missed this game during the old generation, as I didn't play videogames for over 10 years.

So my question actually is, if I buy it, there is some way to find players for multiplayer (pvp)?
And where do you play it, on STEAM or what ?

Another question is, also thinking about playing the campaign only, I read some posts of you which say the game doesn't start anymore?

I hope to get some answer !

Bye ;)

Hi refraction_it! Ghost Recon Future Soldier should still have multiplayer lobbies. Any games with discontinued online services will be posted here (https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1241617-Online-Services-Update-Masterlist). If you have issues connecting to multiplayer, you may want to refer to this FAQ (https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/Faqs/000016073/Multiplayer-Connection-Issues-in-Ghost-Recon-Future-Soldier-1364550497558).

Some players may have issues launching the game because it was made for Windows Vista and Windows 7 only. (https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/Faqs/000015928/System-Requirements-for-Ghost-Recon-Future-Soldier-1364550490700) You can try launching it with Win 10, but we recommend trying it in Compatibility Mode (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/15078/windows-make-older-programs-compatible) as well. Hope this helps!

sometimes we hook-up on discord to play some multiplayer. Since xbox one backcompatibility for GR:FS, multiplayer on PC version waorks even worse unfortunately. There are more ppl with problems in finding lobbies. Nevertheless, ingame fireteam invites sometimes works so... :)
So check-in here: https://discord.gg/mB5KMD4

I play on win10 and have no problems with it starting.
For multiplayer and coop make sure to open ports for it in windows firewall.

You may encounter random game crash without any error message - > that's most likely uplay/gr:fs bug -> when random friend on uplay friendlist changes their status, the game closes -> workaround: Start uplay, -> start the game -> let it go to main menu -> alt+tab -> switch uplay to offline mode -> if uplay starts another game process just close it -> the game you started earlier will remain in online mode so you can play multi or coop -> no more random crashes to desktop without error message

That's it. :P
