That is one wierd picture. Its like someone ambushed her with a camera with an unbelievably bright flash. That or its a corpse. Either one seems probable.

I just googled that picture ...
Here's the article it belongs too:
WWII Woman Pilot Still Flying (http://www.defenselink.mil/news/Mar2000/n03232000_20003231.html)

(Must admit, I haven't read it, but the title sounds interesting!)

That "corpse" you're referring to did more in 2 years than you've probably accomplished in your entire life.

Then again, probably not.

Though I understand you being upset at the "flippancy" of the corpse statement. A bit careless.

He, he "flippancy."

SOLO, ya noob, relax buddy. Its a freaky picture and I said nothing derogatory about her as a person or her accomplishments.

All I asking about was how do you keep logg.

What is important to write down in a loggbook and in whitch order?

Please atleast 1 Serious answner, PLEASE!!

I suppose we are getting a bit off topic, but it makes me angry when n00bs come on here and disrespect their elders. Perhaps I take it personally. My father is 83, a veteran bomber pilot of WW2. He spent two years training, flying Tiger Moths, Ansons, Oxfords, Wellingtons, Sterlings and Lancasters. He flew 23 combat missions over Germany, was shot down and spent 8 months as a POW. Walked in the force march from Occupied Poland to Germany, Escaped from "Liberating" Russians, returned home and signed up for the PTO. All by the time he was 21! Perhaps BigBear might think he looks like a corpse too but what has he done up to age 21?
And yes, Bear, ya n00b, referring to an elderly "Lady" as a corpse is very derogatory. Perhaps a public apology to her would be in order.

Hm, looks like nobody does indeed.

(Well, sometimes I do take notes when on online missions, about servers, other pil2ots and if I had fun, or not. But, I never seem to be able to keep them in a structured way, as in a logbook ... and I never look at them afterwards anyways ...)

A historicallay acurate way, though maybe not a pilot's log:

Have fun!

another option is sort of a diary where you write what you have to do in the next mission, how you feel about it, and then what actually happened, plus the total flight time in mins and any awards you got. But that's more for offline.

Online i write down only the server name (not even the mission name - probably i should), my plane, the kills, the outcome (KIA, Captured, B.O., Escaped, Landed Safely, Crashlanded) and why (e.g. i was trying to find the fuel gauge and didn't notice the FW190 at my back), plus the flight time. Personally, i think it's completely useless to fly without keeping a log, except if you only care about the k/d ratio in your favourite server and the size of your p****. Then, the log is useless http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.
btw, in case you forget something you can refer to the eventlog.lst file, which is never emptied if you add an eventlogkeep=1 line in the [game] section of your conf.ini.

They are not the _only_ two things I care about.

Can I keep a log?
