View Full Version : Complete Game Save Lost

All right, you know I'm desperate when I resort to forums for an answer.

Started playing the game 2 weeks ago, had reached level 18. I did not (I repeat, NOT) use Facebook with the game. I feel this is important because the first thing everyone says it's too restore my game from Facebook.

Out of the blue on Sunday, as I open the app, the game spontaneously asks me to choose to play with Facebook or continue as guest (what have I been doing for the last two weeks???). Not being interested in playing on Facebook, I chose continue as guest.

Out of the kindness of its heart, the game then takes me through the long, painfully long, grueling, unskippable tutorial, which I need to go through if I want to reach the support page in the options menu. I finally get there and send a report to Ubi. This morning, at last, a response came with the basic stuff (reinstall, restart, it'll work like magic), ignoring the clearly stated fact that this all happened while I had reached level 18 already, and that dumb question about playing as guest or through Facebook was long resolved. Why was I asked to answer this (again) 2 weeks after I started playing and how do I get my old game save back? Is it gone for good? (If so, I have to go give a final 1-star rating to the game and be gone myself.)

Anybody else experienced this?
