Why is TianDi's description say "Easy - Dodge specialist" when this man can't dodge. He gets whopped on his head by a kensei or an orochi, or any other class for that matter, his moves are slow and predictable, he's actually one of the more useless characters of the update. He needs a buff.

As a rep 6 tiandi soon to be rep 7, he doesn't need a buff. he has cancels, good stamina management, excellent poke, and faints very well. Practice him a bit more and you'll see his pretty strong.

If I remember right, people on Reddit say his iframes are not working properly. So maybe with fixing this issue he might become even stronger. Anyway, I think it's Jiang Jun, Tiandi, Shaolin and nuxia for Breach and Dominion, tier wise. Though they seem very close. Nuxia btw is an anomaly as an assassin. She is best in teamganks and really shines with her feats as well.

I recommend you these threads on this topic:

I personally think it seems to be monstly fine as it is now. You don't want to have too many iframes on such a long dodge phasing through anything. You have the ability to cancel into fullstops, another dodge-heavy or a dodge light with superior block which all together seems reasonable enough to justify the chance of being hit mid dodge (though with chances of witnessing hitbox porn)

Don't be unreasonable, RichClout. Tiandi is one of the very best heroes in the game. It is good that he didn't get overly extreme iframes. It would just be unfair, unnatural and unhealthy for the game. You need to learn to dodge when need to dodge. You have several options after that to react on what is coming next for you. Work on your reactions and your reads.

Tier-wise I would stand more with Herbstlicht. JJ is such a powerful beast in that mode. His feats are marvelous (to the brink they might be OP for that mode- isolate the commander see the enemy team being all getting OOS instantly kill off the commander without anyone able to do sth), his sifu stance kepts him active in battles at all times while everyone else runs out of stamina, His damage is huge and he has easy access to unblockables, even nasty dodge attack cancels. Without a doubt he is S-Tier in breach and on any tournament level an absolute requirement.

I don’t know why Shaolin rates so high with people, his best thing is his poke speed.

He has no openers other than catching someone off guard with a quick light. He reels away like Aramusha if you block it. Turtles totally derail all his options because he has to land a light or get an unparried heavy to access most of his toolkit, and frankly both Qi heavies seem to scream “parry me!” to me.

Now it might be that I can only test against Level 3 bots, who parry pretty much anything that’s not guaranteed and can’t be mind-gamed, but he doesn’t seem that good.

He’s a faster Nobushi, really.
