1) Read the Rules

2) Play by the Rules

3) Respect the Host

4) Respect your Peers

5) Arguments DO NOT ensue fun game play.

6) Announce to host NOT GAME ROOM if any foul play is occuring.

7) Do not question the hosts requests to switch teams when necessary.

8) LANGUAGE is becoming intolerable, (pretend you are playing a game with your Mother watching )

9) Think before you speak.

10) Read the Rules again if in doubt.

I post this as a friendly remider due to the lack of consideration that I have witnessed over the past few months.

Lo mate,
I think that you have targeted a growing problem found by more and more people who host rooms, mainly a complete disregard or ability to follow simple rules/requests.

As a person who hosts regularly (under AHS banner) I find it frustrating that a few individuals (usually the same few on all sites) attempt to ruin the gaming experiance for many others, some of who take great pride in both thier flying skills and sportmanship, by constantly Vulching, stealing kills, being abusive, not following rules etc. Unfortunatly I have had to resort to issuing one warning and kicking offenders, usually to the delight of other flyers.

So please, a simple request to all flyers on all sites, READ the rules, Respect the hosts wishes and requests then we can all fly and enjoy FB.

Well said - & may I add: READ THE RULES! /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

& please don't start whining about the server settings because - you know - the host might just have set it that way because he likes it... - feel free to join another game if you can't live with it. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Well im one for no vultching so when i host i put in there no vultching Vultchers will be kicked with no warnings.

And its amazing after some one gets booted they come back into the room and ask Why was i kicked /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

"Of all my accomplishments I may have achieved during the war, I am proudest of the fact that I never lost a wingman. It was my view that no kill was worth the life of a wingman. . . . Pilots in my unit who lost wingmen on this basis were prohibited from leading a [section]. They were made to fly as wingman, instead."

Agreed, respect the rules of a server and aid your teammates as much as possible..
By stealing a kill you're the reason no-one is covering your teammates back and should be restricted to manning AAA for the rest of the game/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

I'll vulch on every server if I have the chance to doit , no matter it says vulch or no vulch because I fly only ground attack planes. Is nice for you to chase an IL2 that is not allowed to "vulch" or a Jug , let it be,justs let it be.
Well , I don't play online that much , so what do I know.

Well , ppl will argue that "This is a dogfight room" why do you choose IL2 , or the Jug. because :
1) is in the list
2) i love those planes
3) dogfight rooms is just ... a word . Most of the scripted servers are running in "dogfights rooms" and not only. Was said that it ruin the game for ppl while vulched! C'mon , i never "vulch" in FW's , Bf's and so on. Everytime when I have to attack planes on the ground what can I do? Drop a bomb , fire rockets and fire the cannons. But until I will do a turn to come back , not one , but 10 planes will be airborne , and this is a fact that I ACCEPT. I came alone , I vulched , I have to try to stay alive! Most of the time I don't survive , so what's the problem? Aaaa, I get it now , was not you the one to shoot me down but another guy who know how to fly his plane , better luck next time. But what annoys the crap of those guys is that an IL2 or a Jug can kill theire FW's or Bf's in the air , then you're banned , not only kicked from the server.Be a man , not a puppy , afterall is just a game.

Lo again,

Ref Zayets, if a host states in his rules page that attacking grounded aircraft with G/A Aircraft is ok then so be it. But if it isn't stated then ask first, sometimes its an oversite hat is genuine.

Also there is the point of pilots landing damaged planes on opposition airfields soley to allow thier gunners to shoot grounded aircraft (several pilots have done this in my server), and then complain when they are destroyed or "kicked".

Again, read rules and either obey or ask if unclear.

If I ever feel the urge to vulch, I say I'm doing it. and I usually go for the fuel tanks on the bases anyway. It's no fun if you anger others. But mainly my role on a hosts server is shooting the host down when he has achieved sufficient speed and altitude. Also, I follow the rules and have fun!

KRISTORF,
You seem to be a very educated and intelligent man. But I have a question for you. What should I do with a G/A Aircraft? Dogfight? I do that , but only after I release hell over that field , wether is stated or not. Period. I am kicked , good , although never happened. If I go online (same as offline) is to attack objects on the ground. I don't like dogfights. Always ends bad no matter you shoot down or you got shot down. That's what I like to do and this is what I will do.

Hi to every one.

I'm from Italy and don't understand certain therms used here, such as "vulchering"... what does it mean? when you shoot a plane that is taking off?... and then again: What do you mean with "steal a kill?" to shoot down a plane that is being chased by a teammate?... And I have another newbie's question: is there any extra charge on your bills for playing online? or it's just cost as much as surfing the net? I have an ADSL 24 over 24 hours online account. But you know, i was wondering if there were additional costs (re routing, special phone numbers, etc) that are invoked when you play online. I've alredy try online gaming (I own copy of IL2 non FB) two or three times and that was real fun... so i would like to stich to host rules and spend not more than my ISP's bill.

Many Thanks.

Regards.

This is a thing that only real men do, which means SEAWSONG or Supresion of Enemy Airfleet While Still ON Ground. If the base is well defended then the challenge is bigger.

when you shoot a plane that is taking off?...

Could be , makes no difference.

- and then again: What do you mean with "steal a

Yes , oppinions on this subject are still splitted in two. Imagine that your partner is in flames and chase another plane which looks healthy like the Pope in the years 70's. What would you do? But better ask , some of them will break , some of them will attempt to ram the other one , is just a matter of taste.

No , there are no extra costs when you have a 24/24 line. it makes no difference because is not your phone who calls the servers , but your ISP.
Get IL2:FB.

- Many Thanks.

You're most welcome.

Hey,
Don't vulch if the server says not to vulch. I for one , I don't care wether is vulch or no vulch , coz I will always "vulch". Some kiddies will states in their briefing that vulching is not allowed , if you fly a fighter plane , then don't vulch ( I never fly fighters) , if you fly a bomber or fighter bomber then vulch at will , no matter if server say no to vulch. A ground attack plane is built to attack targets ON THE GROUND (do you hear that hosts?) and not to dogfight. However , is always nice to see how a FW over past ya because he's to fast and ends right in front of your IL , hehehehe , the rest is history...
