Thunderbolt56 and various buddies' sig brought FBDSTAT into my attention... I think I don't understand, how the server know you are really you, and me is really me? So you will be given a password for authenication?

My sig is merely a wraparound that draws the stats that have been collected from the greatergreen server. It's realtime and dynamic (thus it updates itself)

Lunix wrote it as a whim last week, but due to bandwidth constraints right now, it's not openly available.

If you fly on greatergreen, however, rest assured there are stats there under your name. I also go to the stats page before joining to check the status (i.e. who is on, what map is running etc,..) instead of ASE or even HL to see actually who's on before I join.

Look for them here: http://www.greatergreen.com/stats/il2/

yes I understand how to wrap the stat into a jpg, just simple programming.... what I don't get is how FBD-STATS authenticate an user.... If there is actually no authentication mechanism, someone can use your name and mess around, thus ruining your stats?

btw, very nice sig, I really love it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hi FBHK Im glad you think my little toy is nice. FBDStats identifies a pilot by callsign alone.
