I don't think it's Spam per se, just he's a lousy shot so it didn't land in the right thread. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Ought to be in the 262 theme song thread. It was the other song i think of every time I'm flying the jets, especially the 163. My eyes water from the imagined cold around 30,000 meters and climbing fast.

For me, it reminds me when I first started flying back when I was a wee lad. I would lie if I said that the feeling you get when you fly is "routine", but some of the fascination has worn off and has been replaced with all the technicalities. The song sort of brings me back to before it got like that. Very nostalgic.

Though, when the song mentions ice forming on the wings... that brings back not so good memories of flying Cessna Caravans. 208's are infamous for their subpar deicing equipment and, in my opinion at least, seems to suffer a lot more noticably from icing than other planes I've flown. You REALLY gotta watch out for ice with the 208... It's a real pilot killer!

Tsisqua, thx for noticing the sig, but I regret to inform you, that I will soon be retiring this particular Mark of signature.
