I've updated all my graphics driver, set the quality to low setting, turned down resolution too 1280 x 720 and still consistent crashes every 10 or so minutes.
I pre-ordered knowing that my pc could run this kind of game, but to get constant crashes even at the games lowest graphical settings is beyond me.

My gaming laptop is a dell inspiron 7th gen i7 gtx 1050ti

Can ubisoft please respond, i spent my hard earned cash for a product that is literally unplayable

Is your laptop using gtx 1050 Ti instead of the integrated one? Make sure the game is using the GPU.

I think the Game is pretty tough on CPU Overclocks. I had to increase my CPU Voltage by 10mV and it's stable now.

you should play this game easily. what's your gpu driver? if you don install today's 416.16 nvidia driver then download it. i have random crash issue like you but with this driver crash issues has gone. make sure you would make a clean install.

I had the same problems..freeze/crash very 2 or 3 minutes - here is what I did:

- updated to the latest Nvidia driver 416.16
- disabled CPU overclocking in BIOS
- disabled GPU overclocking with MSI afterburner
- started Uplay as administrator
- restart

Now the game runs fine. Even in exclusive fullscreen mode with HDR. Im using an Intel 8086k CPU and a Nvidia 2080 Ti - game runs with some tweaks in the video setting with stable 60 fps in 4k.

I had the same crashing issues. I also have a gaming laptop. The games seemed to crash most often in cut scenes vs anything else.
My specs are
GTX 1070
7th Gen i7 7700HQ
8 GB DDR4

My fix I found for the crashing was by playing in borderless windowed mode. This hurt my fps by approx 15fps (i'm on ultra settings so it brought me from 45 fps to 25-30). But it hasn't crashed since. I'm not sure if the day 1 patch corrected the issue but if your still having it. Try switching to borderless mode until they address it.

May I ask did your PC lock up & have to restart ?? As this is what mine does every 10 mins or so. I too have CPU/GPU o/c's but this is the only game that does it. Origins was fine.
