After I messed a bit with IL2 Manager, which I didn't quite understand, by the way, I launched one of my campaigns and saw, that my German squadron mates and myself all hd gotten Russian ranks! What happened?

Cheers

daya have both "Manager" and Il2 Stab?
if yes, then disable realistic awards and rank in Il2 Manager and keep them in the Il2 Stab.
You can do the reversed thing(keep the manager and disable the Il2Stab), but Il2Stab works better.

A 'good' landing is one from which you can walk away. A 'great'
landing is one after which they can use the plane again<center>

By the way, I had also been trying out the DCG, which I don't understand either (I'm a moron), this may also have done something.

no, Yuri, has nothing to do.
When i first intalled Il2 Manager, I encountered the same problem.
Just use my advice, it will work. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Yep, you are right. It worked. Now I will have to continue trying out these useful tools.

Thanks Von_Zero

Il2 stab is the best IMO, especialy if you like playing campaigns. Il2 manager is also very useful, and is practically very hard to decide wich one is better.
I prefer the stab, cuz is " small, faster and more "bugless" then the Manager(I haven't d/l ver 4.0, so I don't know that one).
I still kep them both.
Watch out with the "tools" you are ok as long as your fingers are not "cracked" /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
