Hi all!

New video from me again! This time a tribute to the Polikarpov I-16 doing som acrobatics over Slovakia map! Check it out! (I must admit that I had a 4-5 retries of going under two bridges that close!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4b363vnft5w

Again, full version (1280X1024, 6000 bitrate, HD DivX) can be downloaded from my server here:

www.retusjering.com/Push_the_tempo.avi (http://www.retusjering.com/Push_the_tempo.avi)

I really recommend downloading the HighRes version as the quality on YouTube is not good IMHO. (I think they reencode waht you upload even if it has great bitrate.) The speed on my host is pretty descent I think.

Nice to see the I-16 getting some recognition. One of my favorites to fly! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Very enjoyable video. Acrobatics like those of Alexandr Ovetshkin.

Thanx! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I feel that when you favor some planes, you fly them better if you really really like them. First time I saw the I-16 I actually thought it looked "funny", but after a while I just fell in love with it! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif A tips for other acropeople out there. The engine of the I-16 is likely to cut out if you do negative G after a short while. I tried different settings, but found out that setting supercharger at 2 (yes, on low levelflying I know) and mix of 80%, the engine last a few seconds more! Oh btw, the bridges I go under the second time was all taken in one shot! I flew under the first one, flied a little longer when I saw two bridges some distance apart. I must say I was very satisfied when I flied under the third bridge without crashing!

The fist bridge with the second bridge only 10 meters after was tricky. I tried 4-5 times, had to use full rudder to get the heading right.

If you cut the throttle to 0% the engine wont cut out also http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif
