I have just returned from Moskva, after a meeting with Oleg.
In this patch, my own and Oleg's conclusions revealed that the new best plane is the BF-109K4.... AND the I-185M-71.
The numbers are absolutely identical, which gives us an unprecedented situation.

Oleg left the choice up to myself and this is what I decree.
Oleg promised me that the bug with the I-185M throttle was due to a limitation in the game's engine, and it will never be fixed.

Ergo, the BF-109K4 has over taken the Mustang, which has dropped to #5 in the list of best planes.

The Blue team has just received the ace of aces. On with the point whoring.

and second, you cant just change your plane every day, of course you aint getting better as a pilot if you fly a new plane every time you play, stick with one plane and fly that modell only then you will se results, what next? if you succeed shooting down some guy with a TB-3 will it be the best fighter in the game http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

This assumption is wrong. I am master of all planes, and choose to fly only the best.

For the last time, Sir.Robin and I are not one in the same. I am not Sir.Robin and I am not his "sidekick." But I am a master marksman and accomplished aviator. I am not just an ace, but an ace above all other aces, a man amoung men, and a living legend. I am an ace of the people. You may refer to me as "the people's ace" because I fight for the people. There is a price on my head in hyperlobby because I have the unique ability to score at will. I will often toy with my target, make him think he has the upperhand, and then turn the tables. As one would expect, there is a lot of animosity against me from average avaitors who have not yet achieved ace status. Sir.Robin and I bear a message of peace. One should not be discriminated against on the basis of being an ace. As Robin put it, one should not hate the ace or "ace-hate."

What? You didn't see my post to the "Trim On A Slider Post?

Here it is again, for your enjoyment:

Once upon a time, on a forum board far, far away, there was a great ace named Ray Ban Jockey. Now, this "ace" discovered an exploit, not a cheat, (this according to the ace himself), that allowed him to place his trim on a slider, and that the trim input would occur instantaneously. This allowed the pilot to do bat turns in a way that nobody had expected. The ace began to post his discoveries to all that would see. The trim, at that time, seemed to not add to the blackout as modelled at the time.

So . . . In their wisdom, the great gods of 1C, headed up by the one and only Odin Maddox, cast a spell upon the world of IL2, and slowed the input of trim on a slider, so that it more closely resembled what would happen in the magic place called "reallity". No more could the ace perform his legendary bat turns, and if he tried, his blackout effect was now based on the amount of g's that were pulled, not how hard he pulled on the stick.

Alas, the ace left for parts unknown, but it is rumored that he has been seen, from time to time, in the land of "Sea Moss".

The End.

This story has been brought to you by Tsisqua

Naw, seriously, I don't think that they ever did ban him . . . he never broke any forum rules . . . unless they set up new ones about bragging. He was actually given a community award for being the funniest forum member. He wasn't a bad guy at all . . . answered a PT and said to me that he set out from the beginning to get himself banned . . . he was incredulous that they gave him an award. He just couldn't be a bad guy, no matter how hard he tried.

He just finally picked up and moved over to CWOS. His style and Robin's are so much the same that I really cannot tell the difference anymore.

It is here and now decreed that Sir Robin is nothing more than a tosser. He has been banished for his self-proclaimed "acedom", as thou should know none is greater than King Richard the "Lionheart". From this time on it is ordered that Robin and his fairy band of men shall be made outlaws and exiled to fly in n00b servers with their only aircraft of choice being U-2's. Any challenge of this proclomation will find terrible and swift consequences for those who dare.
