I was thinking that most of the footage shown of AC looks like Dx9 (as it has no next gen effects, motion blur etc)...but i would think it has Dx10 as it is really focusing on Graphics and realisim...

Haven't got the money to upgrade, and I've already got an xbox 360, so no, I won't upgrade my PC to play AC.

Read this (http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3029&p=6).
DX10 just doesn't work fine on the DX10 cards. If you got a good videocard already, don't upgrade yet, but wait 'till there's something that really works great with DX10.

My PC will be able to run Assasin's Creed I think. If it's not able to, I would upgrade it
