Ubisoft is insane. I made my emblem in For Honor a very crude silhouette of a *****. Childish, I know-but fun. In my time playing the game, I have come across players with very detailed *****es and ******s as their emblems. I have seen folks with swastikas as their emblems. I have seen racial slurs as emblems. For some reason though, mine was considered TOO offensive after being up for a few hours.

For Honor is a particularly brutal game too. Warriors are very close to the carnage, and executions are way over the top. People playing this game are forced to see men and women get decapitated, mutilated, disemboweled. The game depicts gratuitous blood and gore, murder, and cannibalism. It's all based around killing. That's why the game is rated M for mature.

So this game has an M rating for insane (like criminally insane) depictions of violence. Which I'm not complaining about. I love the game, and unlike most of its community, I don't get offended by things in the game. The whole game though, is inherently offensive. So what's wrong with a *****? If Ubisoft is going to force players to watch a woman rip out somebody's heart and try to eat it, then what is so offensive about a very crudely made *****? First of all, it's made with circles and rectangles. And if game developers are going to program in someone cutting someone else in half top to bottom- then why is a ***** offensive?

Just wondering I guess.

Like seriously. They censor body parts, but For Honor game creators green-lighted a character, so crazy and emotionally unstable, that they cut into somebody's sternum- just to smell what is inside... The hypocrisy is insane

Lol. No player guidelines in regards to emblem creation other than if people report it.

Nobody forced you to draw a raging ***** dude. It's probably only a temporary ban anyway so you'll live.

I am pretty sure images of genitals are considered "offensive". Its common sense.

*Puts on reading glasses*

The EULA directly states, "Transmitting or communicating any material or content which, in the sole and exclusive discretion of UBISOFT, is believed or deemed offensive, including, but not limited to, language that is harmful, threatening, unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, disparaging, obscene, sexually explicit, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable;"

^ Bolding mine. We all had to sign and agree to the EULA in order to have access to the game. Always read what you sign up for and all shall be well.

Google sexually explicit content. Youll find total nudity isnt sexually explicit- let alone a crude cartoon sihlouette

Dude, you did something dumb that was against the rules you agreed to and got told off for it. Accept the consequences and just move on.

Dude. There's nothing against the rules with what I did. What are you doing all day reading Ubisoft forums just to **** on other peoples' days. Just go outside or read a book lol.

There is literally no way you could spin this situation into a story where the community would be sympathetic to you. You knew the rules (you signed them), you broke them anyway and now you're punished for it. To try and compare to the gore and violence of the game is a very false e equivalent. We expect violence in a fighting game. It was always part of the dream about what this game would be. Guess what wasn't part of that dream? Meatswords.

Straight from the For Honor Code of Conduct (https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1571524-Code-of-Conduct-UPDATED-05-16-2018):

Forbidden Conduct
Any language or content/picture deemed illegal, dangerous, threatening, abusive, obscene, vulgar, defamatory, hateful, racist, sexist, ethically offensive or constituting harassment is forbidden. This includes use of the above via user generated content tool like the emblem editor, on the forums, via the in-game chat, or over VOIP.

Just because the game has an M rating doesn't mean you get to make emblems of that nature. All other instances of emblems you've listed are as equally susceptible to the rules as the emblem you created.

Additionally, bans are not issued on the first instance of this type of violation. The emblem would have first been reset on you account and a warning would have been issued to you stating that your emblem was against the rules. Only on second offense would a temporary ban be issued. This means that you had to have willfully broke the Code of Conduct a second time after being previously warned.

I highly suggest you take this time away from the game to reflect on some better ideas for emblems. r/ForHonorEmblems (https://www.reddit.com/r/ForHonorEmblems/) is full of great ideas I'm sure you could take a more appropriate form of inspiration from.

I guess the last one I reported got his penality right? Because it was far more threatening than some male organ flag.

That's something only the support team would know, but would not be at liberty to share details on.

Ban well deserved from the sound off things. I donít want to look at a males Johnson, even if itís hung like a horse, no matter how crudely itís made with a emblem editor when I play games. Same goes for female parts too. The game is Rated MA15+ (Aussie rating system) for strong bloody violence, not sexual references. Maybe go play Playboy or something if you wanna look at genitals
