Hi all. I am after a set of frame plans for the KMS Prinz Eugen or A. N. Other Admiral Hipper Class Heavy Cruiser. I want to make a 1:96 scale Radio Controlled model of a German Z-Plan "M" Class Light Cruiser and figure that since I cannot locate "M" Class frames a scaled down Admiral Hipper will do since they were only 5000 tonnes heavier than the M's.

Thanx in advance y.all!

I have 1000 dpi scans oforiginal plans for Prinz Eugen.

They look like this (the picture you see is reduced in size due to photobucket limitation)

PM me your e-mail.

If they are off the hdreadnought project website I may have them.

That is a longitudinal plan - as in it shows forward to aft cross-sections. Do you have any that show port to starboard (left to right) cross-sections Messervy?

Oh plus how do I PM somebody?? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/351.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/compsmash.gif

What material will you use to make the hull? Electric or gas?

urm pardon?

I think you mean what power source right?

Electric engines. Petrol ones are not allowed on my usual lake http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

If you mean hull consrtuction, she'll be all wood.

Thanks for the thought Kaiser_W but I know that site well lol.

THat is where I found her (while searching for plans & Pics of an "H" Class Battleship)

I think I am going to have to recreate deck plans for the "M" Class in a cad package and make my own hull form. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif Pity really cos you can easily make mistakes on the hull form, but if I gotta then I gotta http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Thanks for trying to help though guys! I do aprechiate (sp) it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Sorry, I did mean that as two separate questions but you did answer them. Wood with electric power.

No worries Bucketlung.

Now, my planned 21 foot model of the HMS Hood (1941/sinking plan) will have a diesel engine powering 4 electric motors so I have the option, but that is YEARS off lol
