Here's the link to a virtual tour of the USAF Museum in Dayton, Ohio: http://www.nmusafvirtualtour.com/full/tour-pkg.html

I don't think the word "amazing" quite sums this place up http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

I have never visited unfortunately. I really wish it was located in a more tourist accessible part of the USA....but that's just for my benefit when I visit. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif

Awesome find! Thanks for sharing. Almost as good as being there.

The first half of the Kettering Aerial Torpedo video was hilarious. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

The B-18 "Bolo" is every bit as ugly as I imagined.

I live in Centerville, Oh., just 10-12 miles from the Museum and WPAFB. I try to get to the museum several times a year as they are always adding more items and have ever changing topics on display.

I had the opportunity to visit the Naval museum in Pensacola a few years ago and must say that anyone that has ANY interest in flight and history must visit these facilities.

I've been there three times, and that's the best I've seen the WW1 section, it way too dark in there, in real life. WW2 not as dark but too dark for good pictures without a dam good camera and long exposers.
Any Idea on how to save that on the HD?

That place is aviation heaven. I live in Europe but if I ever go to USA this place will be on my route.

One of the videos in there seems to glorify the Atomic bombings. Seems wrong to me. If some country bombed our city's and made a video like that America would freak.

WOW!!! Great site, amazing displays,(a WACO glider-not many of those left-at least on this side of the Atlantic),not to mention everything else.
That site has to chew up bandwidth like my new dog on a stuffed animal, hahaha!
Hoping to make it to the Pennsylvania Gunsmith School soon, maybe on 'spring break' I could make the trip to Dayton, since it's a bit far from TX.
Thanks for sharing,M8.
