So, whenever I start up The Crew 2 while I have the official Sony bluetooth dongle plugged in, whether I have the PS4 controller connected or not, The Crew 2 behaves as if I'm holding Up. I've unplugged the dongle and that stops the Holding Up problem, and plugging it back in makes it start again.

Is there no way to play this game with a PS4 controller wirelessly? If so, how is that still a thing these days?

Side note: The controls for the PS4 controller aren't properly mapped. Circle should correspond with the displayed B, but it doesn't. It seems Left Stick Click is A and Right Stick Click is B.

Hi piccolo113! The Sony Playstation 4 is a supported controller, according to this list (https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/Faqs/000035170/Supported-controllers-for-the-The-Crew-2-TC2/).U I recommend reinstalling your PS4 controller's drivers, as that may be causing conflicting issues. You can also try verifying your game files (If you own the game through Steam (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335) or Uplay (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/000019000/Install-Uninstall-Verify-A-Game-in-Uplay/)).
If you are still having issues with your controller, please make a ticket (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/Cases/New) with your msinfo and dxdiag files attached (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/Faqs/Details/kA030000000emSbCAI?name=how-to-submit-dxdiag-and-msinfo-files). Our technical team can look into this issue further for you once they have that information. Thanks!

Well, I should point out that the controller works perfectly, and is recognized as a PS4 controller, when I have it plugged in with a cord. It's only the Sony Bluetooth dongle that causes the problem.

I had problems with the Bluetooth dualshock 4 in the open beta, so I bought the game on Steam. I'm sorry that's not very helpful, but for anyone considering buying and playing with a DS4, consider Steam.

Seems that corded is the only way to do it, eh? The game just doesn't seem to like bluetooth dongles?

Seems like it, i'm encountering the same issue.
Mentioning that controller & sony bluetooth dongle works fine with other games on UPlay.

How odd that a game could be so averse to just having a bluetooth receiver plugged in.
