View Full Version : G29 problems

Trying to use a Logitech G29 with updated drivers and latest LG software. I have also added a profile within the LGS so everything should be fine but it is not. Within the game I can see the steering wheel commands but cannot turn left or right, other commands work I cannot change any settings under "wheel controller" so there is a conflict somewhere within the program. I see that I'm not the only one (a couple of threads already). Hope it is fixed soon.

Just as a means to be sure that this is the case, but the game will only detect the G29 with the PS4 setting (if you are using the PS3/4 supported wheel). Apologies if this seems condescending, it's best to start at the simple parts and work up.

Next if you have selected the switch and relaunched the game and it's still not detected. Then I'd ask to confirm that it is both detected and listed in Logitech Gaming Software and within Windows Devices as G29 Driving Force racing wheel. I had to switch USB to get mine recognized as it wouldn't show up in Logitech Gaming Software. Outside those suggestions there would have to be more information to see if there's a problem and a possible solution.

Hi merc_64. As stated in this list (https://support.ubi.com/en-gb/Faqs/000035170/Supported-controllers-for-the-The-Crew-2-TC2/), the G29 is an unofficial supported controller on PC. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. The only thing I can really recommend is to make sure your drivers are up to date for the wheel. You could also try verifying your game files (Depending if you purchased the game through Steam (https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335) or Uplay (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/faqs/000019000/Install-Uninstall-Verify-A-Game-in-Uplay/)). However, the controller is not officially supported on PC. Hope this helps!
