Hi ya. When I got bored I put unlimited fuel on an Me-163 and tried to see how high I could take it.

Results on the Okinawa map: 102500m
Which equals 336,286 feet.

For reference Spaceship One just last year had to break the 100km mark or 62 miles.

Yes, it was completely unrealistic and I had to jam the flaps in the landing position to even get the game engine to the ridiculous height, but I did land the Me-163 as well.

And in case you wondered, yes, your pilot can bail out from the height and land in his little liferaft unharmed.

Navyflyer. You are obviously a n00b. OMFG
I hate it when people like u post.

BECAUSE EVERY ONE KNOWS A 163 CAN CLIMB TO
336,000 FEET. I did it last week. It's easy, all you need is a tank of air to you can breathe.

I jumped out too, and my raft worked perfectly.

I tried it with a B-1 once. I got fairly high too. I have discovered that the craters on the Moon arn't modelled properly.

outer space is undermodelled ,be sure

i hope Oleg will fix this so we can finaly fly our UFO planes like the La7,Spit etc up there http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

You may need to consider getting a life.

93 000 meters with an me-163, then heading right down geting up to the speed of 3900 kmh, all on realistic. but i dont think its soo unrealistic because it is a rocket and it want to pull the nose up so you dont need wings to stay level, dont know about the pilot though...

How long did you have to wait to find out?

3900 kmh. Really? My 163 always explodes when I get too much past 1000 kmh coming down from high altitudes, but I guess at over 100,000 meters there's no air so no mach limitations. Cool. I'll try it tonight.

yes, it seams to exploder at higher altitudes in higher speed, so from 95 000 meters to around 25 000 meters, under that it will explode... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
