http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif I seem stuck in a loop with the Forum... I'm always waiting for that Next Patch!
Like a Gambler waiting for that Next Big Hand in Poker! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-surprised.gif

Other than tweaking my skins and trying to get the squadron website just right and online, I'm with Woofiedog - constantly waiting for a miracle patch with flyable heavy bombers, Pe-2/3s, and maybe some nightfighter Ju-88s.

But the nightfighters have to come with a live backseater with working radar and all that to be really useful so that'll proly never happen.

http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif CivilDog! I couldn't agree more about the Bombers and a Night Fighter set-up of some type with a Rear Gunner/ Radar Operator.

It would certainly increase the interest in online Co-ops if we had some! And I want a Lancaster with a Tallboy bomb, too.

CivilDog... The A-20 is becoming one of my Favorite Birds to Fly. I've had Aircraft Kills with it... mostly by luck... off-line also.
I'm not much of a On-Line Player... but I'll have to give that a try soon with the A-20.
That would be a Blast flying in formation on a Attack Run. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/11.gif

Absolutely!

Have some P-38's come screaming in for flak suppression and to plow the road of any fighters, then an echelon wave of A-20's or B-25's (though I'd prefer the hard-nosed Air Apache version) dropping para-bombs and strafing the bejeezuz out of everything in sight.

Or a massed live-piloted (and with live crews!)B-17 formation escorted by live pilots in Mustangs heading for the IP when attacked by flights of live piloted LW defenders. Flak towers pounding away, the massive strike on some rail line, oh - the mind reels!

Or a Ploesti raid with flyable B-24's escorted by P-38's! Oh the humanity! The Doolittle Raid!!

With the new larger online allowances those could happen if Ubi got on the stick and got us flyable heavies. Then I know we'd see more bomber mission oriented Co-ops. I might even give up flying fighters. Well, maybe not.

Yeah, I'm not much for online right now, either and it's because it's all about the dogfight AirQuake servers. And our squad is seriously undermenned so it's too hard to get into one of the online wars like Forgotten Skies at the moment.

I said discussing the history BUT I also make some pretty good missions, as people tell me, and I've just started making movies.

Campaign (or as I am beginning to think of it- campainintheass) building takes more time by far than discussing WWII topics here, which I do regularly.

Discussing the topics is more fun. Making a campaign is a bit like work. Tedious is a good word. I'm half done, Thank God.

Now I'll drive myself more nuts by making some movies for it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

I'm all about the skins. Sometimes I almost think that a plane is performing better just because it looks sharper on the outside.

A snappy looking skin is guaranteed to add at least 5 kph to you speed.

working with the FMB is absorbing to say the least...and getting the right period equipment and matching historical elements to some well documented battles is where the FMB's capabilities shine.

Collecting skins from the one and only site to look in is fun as well....sure hope they work it out over there.

I spend most of my non-flying time at the IL2Skins forums helping out where I can. I also browse the archive of skins to make sure recent uploads are in order, and check on the skins that users have reported as needing attention.

Forums seem to take up more of my time than flying, heheh.
