Have you guys heard about this game? I just came across it by accident:

It's pay to play, massively multiplayer, graphics are passable:

Has anybody given this a shot?

Use to be MS game, then was sold to private Co. They continued development. It`s pay to play, but had some good MP going. Outdated a bit. Not a flight sim, for sure, but was great game back in the day.

Hmmm pay to play - not a chance, its just far too expensive.

Maybe if it was 2-3 a month or something like that I may consider it, but 10 or 20 is just a complete ripoff.

I donno if it changed... was 9 or 10 USD if i remember correctly.. or you could purchase 6 months or 12 months sub... that would bring down the price per a bit more. I wouldnt bother with it now anyways... not worth it

If you want a Massively Multiplayer flight SIM then go and download Aces High II. It's far superior to Fighter Ace in practically all aspects. It has just as many flyable planes to choose from, has better graphics, a much more realistic flight/damage model as well as ballistics system and also comes with the ability of driving tanks and AAA vehicles.

IMHO FA looks far too cartoonish to deserve to be called a flight sim...

Soon as I saw the MPH on the airspeed indicator, I lost any interest in this one.

LOL - good catch Fritz - I missed that.

I'm just surprised with all the WWII warbird enthusiasts here that I had never even seen a thread that mentioned it.

CFS and WoV come up occasionally, but Fighter Ace was a new one for me.
