Ok. They announced that there is going to be Assassin's Creed Odessey, and rumor is that the Assassin named Darius may be the main character. Anyone who has paid attention to the game franchise, in Assassin's Creed 2, where Ezio is taken down into a secret tomb where the armor of Altair is safely locked away, there are the statues of other famous Assassins....low and behold, Darius is one of those statues....is this a possible sign that future Assassins Creed games will be based on the other statues as well?

Did I forget to mention that another statue is that of Amunet? Coincidence? Maybe....maybe not.

I am currently replaying AC II and am collection the seals, so I remember what you're saying. I would love to see more games based on these statues. Actually I would love to see a game that could actually tie everything together into some kind of coherent lineage.

Is it possible? Sure.

I'd take anything you hear from sources outside of Ubisoft as simply rumor right now, though.

Just for fun and food for thought though, here's some info on each Assassin in those tombs:

Darius (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Darius)
5th century BC Persia
Slayed Xerxes I, first recorded use of hidden blade

Iltani (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Iltani)
4th century Afghanistan
Poisoned Alexander the Great

Wei Yu[/ (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Wei_Yu)
3rd Century China
Killed Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China

Amunet (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Aya)
First Century BC Egypt
Killer of Cleopatra

Leonius (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Leonius)
1st Century Rome
Killed Caligula

Altair (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Alta%C3%AFr_Ibn-La%27Ahad)
12-13 Century Holy Land
Famous Mentor and reformer of the Brotherhood

Qulan Gal[ (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Qulan_Gal)
13th Century Mongolia
Killed Genghis Khan (alongside Altair) by shooting him off his horse

Domenico Auditore (http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/wiki/Domenico_Auditore)
13th century Tuscanny
Founded Auditore family, built Montergionni

Again, it's all rumors now, but I think it could definitely be interesting to see some of these Assassins come up in future games.

Also, notice the big blank space between Leonius and Altair- a period of over 1,000 years. Clearly, there are a lot of stories that can still be told, both of these Assassins and others.
