...or is post PF more hardware demanding?

My FR has gone down a bit and I can really feel the difference http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

Well as it has been said..."If Ya look in the read me you'll see...",...what?
That this was produced on "BLEEDING EDGE" hardware? What is that exactly?
And if they used that on PF what kinda pc ramshackle are we gonna find ourselves in when BoB is released?
What needs to be said is what EXACTLY the dev's are makin these games on.I never see that just what new high tech card is gonna be released in 2 months but fer software it cant handle.

Heres ta bleedin' edge hardware ya scallywags!!!

There's quite a few things you can try to bump up your fps and Hunter has a good thread on tips. Defragging and running a registry cleaner like Registry First Aid also seems to help a lot of folks.

I know how you feel. I loaded the patch and got about 40 fps on perfect and now it is down to 37 which is still fine but I don't know what I tweaked to lose those fps. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif I think I may back up my skins and stuff and reinstall the game(s).

S!

Well, my FR has dropped even though I formatted and reinstalled Windows just recently. Sure it has only dropped a few FPS but I can really feel the difference... it's just more sluggish now http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Definitely true. It's obvious after PF (and patch as well) it's doing more graphics, AI calc, and so on. They apparently tried to optimize the code but ostensibly added things exceeding the optimization efforts.
