I hope that this message gets to some developers. I have a really big problem with how the full vs. partial sync of memories in Brotherhood was done.
First, let me say I understand and appreciate why it was done. I think it's a good idea that you are required now to do things the same way that Ezio did them in order to fully synchronize. But, I think this system was executed badly.
This is because of the sync failure. In the event that you fail at a full sync because of your actions, you can't revert to the previous checkpoint - you have to start the entire memory over again. This is EXTREMELY frustrating.
For example, I've gone through a memory and passed several checkpoints without failing the requirements for full sync. Now, I've gotten to the last checkpoint in the memory, and then I fail the requirements somehow. If I desynchronize from the memory and restart at the last checkpoint, it doesn't reset the status for full synchronization. It SHOULD! The failure occurred after that checkpoint. What's the point of checkpoints if they don't reset the sync status?
I doubt it can be fixed for the current game, but I think it's something that should be kept in mind for the next game.
