Since I don't have IL-2 yet I'd like to see a few INTERIOR shots from some particular planes if you could provide me with them. Just make sure your cockpit view is set to the widest field-of-view (can't remember the name for it.

- P-51
- P38 (left-front, front and right-front shots [3])
- Me-262

Thanks!

I saw some of those on the community screenshot page on the main site.

http://www.pacific-fighters.com/en/comscreens.php

Also try the High Resolution Screens stickied on the main General Discussion page.

We have some of the most detailed, accurate and even beautiful cockpits in flight sims. If your impressed by the Origianl IL2 demo, you'll be blown away with what we have now.

Ok, I have uploaded some pictures for you, they are of what you requested. Please let me know when you have viewed them so I may take them off line as web space is a bit limited.... Have not posted all the pics directly here, but some are clickable links so as not to cause problems for the 56k'rs amongst us..

Thank you

Daaang, Taylortony. Those are some beautiful graphics, what are your specs?

And you might want to take his advice if you're going to play online, and even if you're not, the DVD (FB + AEP + PF) is an easy way to check out the rest of the series.

Taylor thanks much for the pics you can remove them. They're nice!

I had already checked both screenshot sections... well, I went through the community shots twice and found a couple... as the other was many pages and when I first looked at them, didn't have specific planes in mind. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

They look sharp because they are well composed pictures and they are probably scalled far down from what they were originally. As long as the downsampling is done right...everything looks extra sharp and smooth.

No, I mean the details look like they're on perfect setting. You've gotta have a pretty good PC for that.

Sorry for the delay in replying Divine wind http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif You are correct it is running in Perfect settings....... believe it or not my PC is 4 years old and a bit, but it still manages it offline, online i tend to drop it to excellent to make it run smoothly, but it will run perfect online.

PC is a 2 gig
1024 rambus memory
lowly, these days, geforce 5900 xt ? or something around that number.

as said i have reduce the image down from 2600 by whatever to 800 by whatever so as not to cripple the 56k'rs looking at it, could post a link to the full size if u want to see it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif also set the time of day to early morning to give you the mist http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif and flew it to give him the best view / effect of the cockpit and background http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif................ see we do care http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gifhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Got to admit though when i dive into cloud for cover online if someone else is running lower settings ie no clouds etc can they still see me?

Icefire pictures are simply opened in photoshop and saved as a jpeg.......... an example is included below of the skin I am working on.... I use perfect offline to do them in http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif or veiw them I should say......

You can get 'perfect' screenshots even with an older setup:
Make a 'track' and take the screenshot from that. Tracks can run at higher resolution and settings because the flight dynamics don't need to be calculated. You can even run the track at a quarter speed if you still have problems, and pause it for the screenshot.
You can also change in-game resolution (in 'setup') without altering your monitor resolution so that the saved screenhot is larger than what you viewed.
For screenshots I make tracks then exit the game and turn on AA on my grahpics card, and increase the resolution. Then I start the game up again and turn all settings to max except for visability distance (this makes the horizon slightly blurred, which I like).
Screenshots turn out great:

At least in P-51 you can get wider view by changing the POV:

The game looks fantastic for a five year game:

Now go buy the DVD and come online to shoot us all down.
