The biggest is the programmable LCD on the throttle. The one on the non-pro does a lot of nothing. On the pro, people can program lots of readouts like fuel, altitude and all sorts of other cool aircrafty things. I wish I had a pro...

And, but you've seen that of course, the looks. The 'normal' X52 is spacey with its blue LEDs and grey/black trim. The MFD is indeed useless apart from the stopwatch feature.

The pro came out a few weeks after my normal one was delivered. I wish I had a pro too... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Also, some people claim that the pro version has modifications to the sensors as well, but I don't know for sure.

I hope you meant that ironically as I am quite happy with my X52.

It certainly is not a piece of junk, but opinions vary. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

1. The X52 Pro centering is much stiffer, but not too much so.

2. The dials and hats are better quality.

3. The (IMO not so useful) display.

4. Overall it feels less "plasticy" than the X52 (I've owned both).

I've never seen the center "dead zone" problem with my X52 Pro as others have found with their X52s. There's a thread around here about a user doable hardware mod for fixing that X52 dead zone.
